Howdy Guys and Gals! I hope that all is well and having a deLITEful day as of this writing. At this age, being fit and fab is in the go! With that, Magnolia Chicken Station Lite has a deLITEful attraction in SM Supermarkets to promote awareness in terms of being pretty well, fit and looks fabulous more than ever through their wellness talks and activities that I’m lucky to be part of.
Most of us eat a lot, and when I say a lot it means that we just eat everything that life has to offer without reading the labels and didn’t bother to know the nutrient content of it which I admit I’m guilty of. And last week, during the wellness seminar event held at the Actvity Center of SM Mall of Asia, hosted by Ms. Angel Aquino, speaker Llena Tan-Arcenas RND. MSN, RN, In-House Nutiritionist, San Miguel Pure Foods, talked about proper eating and how to obtain the shape we wanted without compromising other nutrients and vitamins needed by our body by having balance, moderate and proper diet.
One of the things I’ve learned during that talk is the dos and don’ts of food preparation and the 2 tips listed below are some of those.
1. Select cuts of red meat and pork labeled “loin” and “round,” as they usually have least fats.
2. Use breasts instead of the fattier dark meat (legs and thighs) and remove the skin in poultry.
In line with this, Magnolia Chicken Station, an innovative retail concept introduced in 2004, is Magnolia Chicken’s branded retail showcase located in the fresh sections of SM Supermarkets. The “big idea” was to bring the consumers’ buying habits honed in wet markets into the cleaner, more sanitized supermarket environment. The stations allowed the consumers the freedom to buy fresh chicken either in bulk, by the piece or by 100 grams, and to choose specific cuts such as fillets, deboned whole chicken, ground chicken, and other dish-specific chicken cuts (adobo, tinola, recado, menudo, etc.) for themselves. In addition, its Cook-easy line-up, special, marinated cuts in a variety of flavors such as Chicken Teriyaki, Inasal, Korean BBQ, Breaded Chicken Fingers, and Savory Fried Chicken, to name a few, are also popular choices among consumers.
Meanwhile, Free Nutrition Consultation, Healthy Cooking Demo and Fun Games and Exciting Activities were also done to make the crowd alive and had fun while gaining knowledge about nutrition.
Simply put, the Magnolia Chicken Stations gave consumers a choice to buy chicken in the format and quantity they wanted. All Magnolia Chicken Station products are freshly-made in the outlets, ensuring customers that the products they purchase are guaranteed fresh, safe, and of premium quality - certified alagang Magnolia.
In response to the growing health and wellness movement in the country, Magnolia Chicken Station has recently launched Magnolia Chicken Station Lite (MCS LITE) - a healthier line of fresh chicken products. Magnolia Chicken Station Lite products come from leaner and “healthier” chicken parts or products.
The current MCS Lite product line-up includes the high protein, less fat Magnolia Free Range Chicken, as well as lean, skinless breast cuts like breast fillet, chicken strips, chicken chunks, and lean ground chicken! The brand is also set to introduce a healthy cook-easy line, lean cuts lightly marinated in natural herb and fruit-based flavors that can be used for salads, pastas, and sandwiches.
Guaranteed hearty and nutritious, these lean chicken cuts and wholes will definitely make you feel great and give your fitness a boost! It’s now easier to be fit, fab, and deLITEful all the time with Magnolia Chicken Station LITE -- the healthy chicken line!
Magnolia Chicken Station Lite is exclusively available in major SM Supermarkets, SM Savemore, and SM Hypermarket outlets nationwide.
