one of the games was to decorate a cake using Goya chocolates.
The happiest and sweetest event I’ve been to so far! Yeah, I’ve been to wonderland where chocolates were unlimited. Got all you want, as long as you can munch it, go! Last Thursday, February 20, it was one of my busiest days in my life. From work where I have to clean out and get rid of those backlogs to events related to my blog, well, everything was covered from food to lifestyle to travel. Anyways, that’s the day that I won’t regret and I must say that filing an under time ahead of time at work was worth it.

Pretzel Twists in Goya chocolates and Goya BITS Crispy
Going back to the happiest and sweetest event, thanks Richard! It was a fun and sweet-filled night as Goya celebrates Life. And what more can you think of when you have to celebrate life, well, for me, I have to celebrate with the sweetest goodies that would fills my heart with joy and happy memories. Thus, Goya’s aim for that so it created an event that would let us be a kid again, indulge with variants of Goya’s chocolate while chatting and having fun with Kim Chiu. Sounds good? Yeah, it was!

more chocolate, please?!

Goya Choco Syrup and more chocolates
A daily dose of chocolates, especially the dark ones, for me helps to unleash stress. That’s’ why, I see to it that I have stocks of chocolates in my pedestal/bin in the office so whenever unhealthy thoughts and feelings arise, there’s something that can help me revive my losing energy and bring back the beautiful sunshine in my day. And I do believe that every happenings in our life is worth celebrating – whether good or bad. We don’t need a holiday to celebrate our lives’ joys, no matter how small or big they may be.

Kim Chiu, Goya's Celebrity endorser
And Goya, the nation’s preferred chocolate brand, shows the way in celebrating life’s simple pleasures and events as it holds “Celebrate Everyday with Goya,” an evening that promises to be uncomplicated yet fun-filled, and where everyone can enjoy their daily accomplishments in the company of friends and colleagues and of course, taste the delicious chocolate-y treats that Goya prepared for us. Can you imagine a chocolate buffet, filled with Goya’s all-time favourite products where you can have them as much as you want? I’m such a kiddo and that’s the happiest thing to do

Goya chocolates, best for pasalubong and sharing.
Every day we work tirelessly for our family and loved ones and whenever we accomplish something, it is but fitting to celebrate it in our own way, whether alone or with friends. Celebrating our life’s events helps make us more positive and therefore allows us to be even more motivated to continue and pursue our objectives and dreams,” explains Goya General Manager Josenilo Chincuanco. He also explains that the road for Goya was not easy and it took a lot of effort from both management and workers to bring Goya back to where it once was, in a level where it can effectively compete with other more established brands already in the market.

time for wacky pose with Kim Chiu
Which is why, he said, that the “Celebrate Everyday with Goya” event is the company’s own way of thanking its supporters and the media for continuing to patronize Goya and recognizing the efforts to uplift Goya’s potential to even greater heights and be able to go head-to-head with competitors in terms of taste but at a wallet-friendly price level. And I such am a lucky gal to be part of it.

Kim Chiu, TV host and actress,  Goya’s celebrity brand ambassador was also present and actively participated in the events on which one of those is to have a wacky pose with her. Goya now offers wide-array of products from chocolates bars, to dragees, chocolate covered-pretzel twists, chocolate wafers and even chocolate spreads.  All manufactured using Swiss chocolate-making technology.

the Golden Booth of Magnum
I’m the happiest! I was one of the lucky folks last Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 3:ooPM, who first tried to crack the code and grab the gold at SM Supermarket, and first to bite and tasted the newest Magnum Gold! There were 8 SM Supermarkets in the Metro wherein SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Aura and SM Makati were part of to reveal what’s behind the big question mark in gold.

Crack the code, Grab the Gold
Oh, I didn't get the correct 6 digit code that will open the vault; however, I got this new Magnum Gold bar in exchange of my SM Supermarket receipts. Yeah, because I did shopping first at SM Supermarket, oh, I was like a kid pointing and getting something on the racks, curious of what I got? Hmm... mostly snacks like potato chips and the likes, and juices (or choco-something, lol) like choco chugs. Haha. I was thinking that time about my stocks in the office was already runs out, thus I need to buy goodies that can be store for like a week or so. Doing groceries at SM Supermarket is always fun 'coz they have everything! By the way, just to let you know, mom always preferred to buy fish and meat there because it is always fresh and everything is in there and hassle-free cutting and cleaning because you can ask them to do it for you. (" ,)

Congrats Rod for grabbing the Gold (iPod Shuffle)!
Meanwhile, Magnum Gold is a silky vanilla ice cream coated with sea salt caramel and covered in a golden coating made with Belgian Milk Chocolate that absolutely one of the best ice cream bars I’ve tasted to date.  It is sweet with a kick of salty taste.

Magnum Gold
Going to back to Sunday’s happy-nings where I’m part of SM Makati team, first 200 customers with a minimum purchase of 1000 pesos at SM Supermarket, had a chance to win an iPod Shuffle if they crack the code and get a FREE Magnum Gold bar at the Golden Booth of Magnum Gold.
the crowd went gaga over the #GrabtheGoldatSM
Lucky customer! She cracked the code and grabbed the gold.
If you’ve missed this exciting event, fret no more because starting yesterday until February 28, 2014, you can get the 2 Magnum Gold bars for only P100 at all SM Supermarkets, Hypermarkets and Savemore in Luzon.

Visayas and Mindanao will start selling Magnum Gold on February 17, 2014.

Team SM Makati, l-r: Raffy, Jeman, yours truly, Rod & Rain
Now, it’s time to Grab the Gold at SM! See you there!

Café Lupe
one of the displays hanging in the wall
Metro Manila is such a hectic, chaotic and most crowded place in the Philippines. Thus, having a relaxing time over a not-so-crowded place might be hard to find. I’ve been to places and I admit, they connote and bring us the comfort, the crowd, and the ambiance that we’ve been looking for a certain place depends on our mood.

Meanwhile, we’ve known Antipolo for being on a higher ground that provides a gorgeous view of over-looking Metro Manila, the vast panoramic view of the city’s busy life. When Mr. Moon takes over, a city light seems to be an array of stars, perfect for dreaming and creating goals. Somehow it was like a sight for motivation on making dreams do come true. Perhaps, what I ‘m just wanted to say is that, it is magical.

nachos and tacos -- sooo cheesy!
all-time favorite -- mexican platter!
another platter which I forgot the name

In line with that, a perfect place to spend your lovely night with its perfect location is Café Lupe & OneA KTV. These two establishments owned by Mr. Alvin Carranza (thanks for inviting us to come over your place!) are the perfect combination which is well-suited on your preferences. If you want to have a sumptuous dining experience over an awesome overlooking view while a live band is playing a lively song at the backdrop then Café Lupe is for you. I’ve been here for like, twice already and I must say that, every visit gives a different experience.

It is an open area, thus you gonna see the beauty it entails.

To sum it up, blogger friends and I had a blast. It was an amazing night. We also had a hard time of letting go of the microphones but it is already dawn, thus, we need and we have to go home, else, we are in nowhere (you know what I mean, of mothers, wives and hubbies). I highly recommend this a one stop place where you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
