Marina Oysters Seafood Grill

If we’re friends on Facebook then you already read or see my wall craving for Halo-halo sometime last week. Well, I never thought that patience is really a virtue because after days and more days of waiting, I will indulge myself to an unlimited serving of Halo-halo. Not only Halo-halo, sorbets as well! See? Waiting could make my life miserable but at the end of it, the reward is more fulfilling! Ha-ha.

Halo-Halo and Sorbetes All-You-Can

In line with that, I wanted to share with you my Halo-Halo and Sorbetes All-You-Can experience happened in the super hot Saturday afternoon. The humid weather took me a hard time to get out the house but thanks goodness I was able to made it though. Having the thought of colorful ingredients, the sorbetes, the cold halo-halo, and to satisfy my cravings without spending too much (all-you-can eh!).

In celebration of 27th years of MARINA Oysters Seafood Grill, it opens its newest branch located at Rockwell, Makati City with a bang of unlimited Halo-halo and Sorbetes for only P149 from 2pm-6pm every day! Yeah, from Mondays to Sundays starting last Saturday, April 24 until July 24, 2014. A promo that runs for 3-months that will surely boost up your energy and satisfies your halo-halo craving every afternoon. What I love to this promo is that, everyone can customize one’s halo-halo. So if you wanted all banana or corn, you can have it. If you wanted, less gulaman or beans and more milk it is up to you. You are the maker of your Halo-halo! I prefer my halo-halo to have more leche flan and ube, and voila, wish granted.

My rainbow color halo-halo!

Meanwhile, Marina Rockwell, Makati City branch is perfect for barkada and after office night out. It has a seating capacity of 150-180, wherein the Alfresco 2nd floor is smokers friendly with FREE parking and FREE WI-FI! Chef’s Noodle, the new favourite go-to restaurant for hearty Korean dishes, introduced its new endorser—actor, singer and dancer Sam Concepcion. And yesterday, Sam Concepcion officially signed a contract for Chef’s Noodle held at Chef’s Noodle, Ground Floor, Robinsons Magnolia at around lunch time. It was a jam-packed event witnessed by traditional and online media.

As I’ve mentioned, Sam is the newest addition to the roster of celebrity endorsers of Chef’s Noodle, including TV host Grace Lee and gorgeous couple Lloyd and Shamcey Supsup-Lee. One of the most in-demand teen actors today, Sam exudes a fresh and youthful vibe that is characteristic of Chef’s Noodle. The first international master franchise of the Chef’s Noodle brand from South Korea, the restaurant is fast becoming a diner’s haven for those who want a taste of the land of K-Pop and kimchi—and more.

I am truly honored to be part of the Chef’s Noodle team,” says Sam. “The restaurant has been known for its delectable dishes and high culinary quality.  Who would not want to be associated with that?” Yeah, If I were Sam, I would say YES, too! Ha-ha, right there and then. Sam furthers, “My friends and I love to hang out and try different kinds of food. I especially love Chef’s Noodle because you get to enjoy a delicious meal at an affordable price. It’s a cool combination of a fast food meal and a fine-dining setting. The interiors of the restaurant are as inviting as the appetizing menu. I can’t wait to invite my friends to try Chef’s Noodle and love it the same way I did.”

Chef Choi In Sun

Sam’s cool and casual personality as well as his vibrant energy perfectly captures the brand. As a fairly new player in the food industry here in the Philippines, Chef’s Noodle is indeed a rising star—just like our new endorser Sam,” says Nancy Go, Chef’s Noodle operations manager. “We promise to always delight our customers with our signature dishes and new offerings. Chef’s Noodle will always remain to be the Korean fast food restaurant that Filipinos learned to love.”

With that, let me share with you foodies the crave-able dishes of Chef’s Noodle.

Banzai: The Great Teppanyaki Theater
Howdy Foodies! Happy Monday! Well, I’ll start this awesome week (yes, I’m claiming it!) with sharing with you the latest craze in the Metro – Buffet! Buffet restaurants are popping out like mushrooms in Super Mario (family computer, 90’s baby here). I bet, you are also like me who wants to try everything that world has to offer in terms of food, not unless you want to settle for less (who wants that anyway?). Well, there’s nothing wrong with that, you only live once thus make sure you make the best out of it!

Trying different restaurants is fun. Yes, you got to explore which is good and which is so-so, which is worthy for  your hard earned money and which is such a waste. So, every experience is a great lesson to us – whether good or bad, but I’m sure everything has a purpose and a lesson to be learned.

In line with that, I want to share with you guys, the newly-opened authentic Japanese buffet located at SM Mall of Asia by the Bay – Banzai: The Great Teppanyaki Theater! This restaurant, well, stands out among others because it mainly serves Japanese cuisines. Now, you have the option to have a luxurious Japanese buffet with an elegant setting.

Tempura and Tonkatsu!
different kind pf cakes
Banzai is a huge buffet restaurant that caters authentic Japanese foods, perfect for you, your loved ones and barkada. They have 2 Japanese in-house chefs and ingredients are imported from Japan, thus the authenticity of the food is 100%. In addition to that, your eat-all-you-can dining experience will be awesome simply because foods like Teppanyaki are cooked upon request. Aside from that, they also replenished the foods from time to time to make sure that you have a “sulit” dining experience.

chefs in action
As I’ve mentioned, the restaurant is quite big for you to memorize where the certain cuisine located. Then, might as well, print this photo below for easy tracking and to know what station to hit first.

Banzai's food stations
Since I’m a tad late and the buffet will be closed at 2:30pm, I just had to went on all station and get all the foods that I want as fast as I can and ate them afterwards. Apologies for my table as it look crowded. Ha-ha. I want to try everything and well I guess I almost had it! LOL

Furthermore, what makes it a theatre? There is a Teppanyaki show wherein you can watch and learn as well straight from the chef how great authentic teppanyaki is made and that’s the best part of it!

Hope to see you there one of these days! Happy Monday!
By the way, they have promos ongoing so better check out their FB Page.
